The New York Yankees were dealt perhaps their biggest blow, in what has been a rough season for them with injuries, with Aaron Judge going down for the foreseeable future with a chipped bone in his wrist.

Aaron Judge, the New York Yankees mega-star, left Tuesday’s game after being hit by a pitch. He left the game to get an MRI and the results are not ideal.

Judge will have to wait three weeks before he can even do baseball activities. Obviously, he will miss significant time, but maybe not the rest of the season.

Now, the Yankees once surplus of outfielders has become near forgotten. The Yankees are down to really three healthy full-time outfielders.

Judge is a staple in right-field or even as the DH, now, the Yankees will have to replace their most productive player and de-facto leader.

To pile on to the bad news, the Yankees traded someone with the potential to take reps for him in Billy McKinney to get J.A. Happ literally earlier that day.

Also, Clint Frazier, who would have thrived while getting extra reps in the outfield, is suffering from health problems of his own.

So, the Yankees do have players who can play that position and help fill the void still.

For starters, they can just continue to use Brett Gardner, Aaron Hicks, and Giancarlo Stanton in the outfield. It stinks to lose Stanton as a DH but he will be just fine in right.

So, it is not like the Yankees are screwed in that aspect. They will have competent, even above average defensive players there while Judge recovers.

But, what other options do the Yankees have? Let’s discuss some!
