New York Jets: Five important players for 2018 season not named Darnold

On this Independence Day we are taking a look at five important members of the New York Jets that are not named Sam  Darnold.

Happy Fourth of July, New York Jets fans. Today we give thanks to the men and women who fought for the freedoms that we enjoy today. You may be heading out later on to a barbecue, hosting your own, or off to watch fireworks. Or you could be like me and watching them from the comforts of my television screen. Today we are looking at our Jets from a holiday perspective. We all know the importance of Sam Darnold. He will play, if not all season it will be a significant portion. He is one of the men that will be fighting for wins that we hope to enjoy in 2018. One could argue that he is the most important not only for 2018 but for years to come.

But who are some other guys? For the 2018 team to get on the road to success now and in the future, many players will be important in this ultimate team sport. Today we are naming five guys not named Darnold that are also important fighters for the wins that we hope to enjoy.
