Jordan Leggett will Score Six Touchdowns

The Jets have a maze of people to sort through during training camp to figure out the tight end position. Neal Sterling and Eric Tomlinson are back. Clive Walford is here along with Bucky Hodges. Chris Herndon arrived in the recent NFL draft, but he has already found his way into trouble. It’s not a good look for a guy looking to make his mark as a rookie.

Then we have Jordan Leggett. Unfortunately he wasn’t able to get it going as a rookie due to injury, but he is back for 2018 and ready to go. He was quite the accomplished receiver at Clemson, posting 736 yards and seven touchdowns his senior year. For his career in college he posted 112 receptions and 18 touchdowns.

At 6-5, he will find openings in the red zone. Jeremy Bates will use the tight end, similar to the way John Morton incorporated the position. Someone will take the lead and be the guy who replaces Austin Seferian-Jenkins. Leggett will show just how much he has to prove and will light it up during camp. He won’t be Rob Gronkowski, but look for him to put up six touchdowns in 2018.

Mark it down.
