How does the Giants defense stack up against the Cowboys offense?

The Cowboys have had one of the best offenses in the league for years, and that is for one reason, their offensive line. The Cowboys offensive line is terrifying, not only that but they have one of the better running backs in Ezekiel Elliot behind them.

This combo went for a total of 104 rushing yards in game one but in game two we did not see Elliot due to his suspension. This will also be the first time the Giants will see the Cowboys without receiver Dez Bryant who has still yet to be signed.

In the offseason the Cowboys signed former Jaguars wide receiver Allen Hurns who will take Dez Bryant’s spot alongside Terrance Williams and Cole Beasley. Hurns fills a huge hole which was left by Bryant who was the Cowboys premier wide receiver for the last six years.

Hurns, who played in only ten games last season due to injury, brings his elite talent to the Cowboys to help out quarterback Dak Prescott. In 2015 Hurns went for 1031 yards and 10 touchdowns as one of the Jaguars top two options alongside Allen Robinson.

If the Giants secondary cannot contain Hurns and the Cowboys wide receivers we could see a similar outcome as last year.
