Jason Kidd might be the best Nets player of all-time. I would even argue he is the reason they survived in New Jersey for so long. He was great enough to make this list.

Jason Kidd eventually got his NBA championship as a member of the Dallas Mavericks. That is okay and every Nets should be happy about that.

Kidd absolutely took the Nets as far as he could. He did that twice with Finals appearances twice with the then-New Jersey Nets.

Kidd lit it up every time he stepped on the floor and became a player who was a thrill to watch. His basketball IQ is still one of the highest to ever exist. He did wonders for the modern-day Nets and they should be grateful.

Although the Nets, as we know, have since moved to Brooklyn, he is still the best player they ever had to never win the championship.

His coaching tenure in Brooklyn was nothing but a joke. But it kind of makes sense because it was for the new, re-branded Nets. Not the Nets he put on the map.

Kidd will go down as one of the most interesting players to ever play the game. His 10 all-star games are impressive. His tandem with Vince Carter in New Jersey was a “super team” before it was cool.

We won’t talk about his brief stint with the Knicks. His time in this market is all Brooklyn Nets. What a great job he did. His time as a Net is far from a waste but never brought a championship.

The honorable mention is Drazen Petrovic.

Let’s move to baseball.
