Week Fifteen: vs. Houston Texans

The future of the NFL is on display in this special Saturday battle at MetLife Stadium. The Houston Texans are coming to town and that means Deshaun Watson. He had posted a 103 passer rating in 2017 before losing his season to injury. His talents will be on display in this battle against Sam Darnold and his Jets. This one should be an interesting football game.

New York leads the series between these two teams five games to two. However, Houston is on a two-game winning streak, most recently topping the Jets in 2015 just before their winning streak to nearly make the playoffs. That day, the Jets were exposed badly by DeAndre Hopkins. Well, he’s a guy that makes a lot of players and teams look bad. With Lamar Miller on the ground and the Watson weapon, this team will be tough to beat.

In this one, the Texans are going to come out swinging. This will be the Jets first matchup against Watson and it won’t be an easy one. They may even land the early punch on the scoreboard. However I think the defense, specifically the secondary, makes a difference in this one. Trumaine Johnson will be stuck like glue to Hopkins all day, and he may just make a play that proves to be the difference in this one.

The Jets sneak away with a win.

RESULT: WIN
