Week Fourteen: at Buffalo Bills

More from Empire Writes Back

To start the final quarter of the season, the Jets finish their season series with the Buffalo Bills. This looks to be the second matchup between rookies Josh Allen and Sam Darnold. The more reps they will have had by this point, both should be better than they were than in the last matchup.

Earlier in this series, we have the Jets taking the first game at MetLife Stadium. The defense proves to be too much for Josh Allen. Many Jets fans agree that Allen is a bit limited as it is and good defensive coaches are adept at confusing young quarterbacks.

In the end, this series becomes the bright spot for the Jets in 2018. Buffalo comes to play and this team really isn’t set to blow anybody out. Allen surprises a little bit and the Bills put up some points, more than they did in the first game.

However, in the end Todd Bowles and Kacy Rodgers come up with something on defense to make a play late and secure the win for the road team.

RESULT: WIN
