Week Seven: vs. Minnesota Vikings

The home stand concludes with a visit from the Minnesota Vikings. Yes, this is the team that went 13-3 last year. This is the team that made it all the way to the NFC Championship game. Case Keenum did lead them to much of their record in 2017, but he is off to Denver. Jets fans are quite familiar with the quarterback taking his and Sam Bradford‘s place.

It will be interesting to watch. In case anyone forgot, Kirk Cousins signed with the Vikings after he was offered more money by the Jets. Add that to a reunion with Sheldon Richardson and this becomes a very interesting afternoon. The crowd reaction to one or both of these guys will be fascinating. The game, however, may not be so fascinating.

This one is a tough ask for the Jets. Cousins simply has too many weapons at his disposal here. If it’s not Stefon Diggs it’s Adam Thielen. On the ground Latavius Murray is there, and Dalvin Cook is back. He put up 354 rushing yards in four games averaging well over four yards per carry. Cook is dangerous similarly to the Saints Alvin Kamara. The Jets may score a bit, but not enough to keep up with these guys.

RESULT: LOSS
