Predicting the wins and losses over the second quarter of the New York Jets schedule.

There isn’t a lot of New York Jets news to talk about this time of year. The draft process is over and the frenzy over free agents is over. There might be a few signings here and there, but for the most part we are in a dead period. OTAs come up soon, but those don’t typically bring out a lot of information to talk about. Until training camp, we have to find a way to bide our time with topics to discuss.

So, what do we do? We can talk about Sam Darnold and break down his game. Oh, don’t worry, we will do that too. We have plenty of time to talk about Darnold as well as the rest of the draft picks. We can discuss how Darnold will be brought along in year one. We have time to do all of that between now and this summer. But we also have to do what we do best as bloggers. We have to make, predictions!

Specifically, we are breaking down the Jets schedule, predicting the win-loss record. To keep it in short bursts we are breaking the schedule down into four quarters, four games each. We have gone through the first quarter of games and leaving the Jets with a 2-2 record. This quarter of the schedule includes three straight games at home. How are the Jets going to fare?

Let’s get going and find out.
