The teams that need the most help are not going to get much because who is left? Well, they are going to have to figure it out as the first round winds down.

The Chicago Bears are a pretty enigmatic team. Their needs and issues are bizarre and hard to pinpoint. There is one thing for sure though, they are high on Mitchell Trubisky. Therefore, they should protect him.

This pick falls perfectly to them. Notre Dame is producing great linemen and the Bears, although could use work on their defense, still have good running backs and a QB who is dubbed the future. Regardless of who they pick or where they pick, the offensive line protecting their guy should be stout.

It is hard to quite understand why the Bucs are bad but they are. It is also puzzling why Michel is projected to go much later. He has experience playing in big games and comes from a winning program. That is the kind of culture that Jameis Winston has yet to bring.

But as far as fulfilling a need, the Bucs do need a running back. In a draft where Saquon Barkley is being drafted, it is hard to be high on a different running back. But Tampa will have to put all that aside to fix this need. Also, why wait? Taking a running back not named Barkley early would not be wise. But the order is reversed now, so why not go for Doug Martin’s replacement?

The Colts loaded up on draft picks in a trade with the Jets. They should honestly go best player available with all those picks because there is a great chance that pays off for them. Andrew Luck might not have an arm anymore but there are no QBs worth taking here for the Colts.

Guice might not be someone who goes in a ton of first rounds, however, he is one of the best players left on this board.

Not much more to get into here. Indy just needs to load up on talent.

The Broncos might need a QB soon but they also need to replace Aqib Talib. Going with a need here is smart. With a lot of the highly-touted corners gone, it still shouldn’t change what the Broncos do here.

Their defense has mightily fallen from where it was when they won Super Bowl 50. Yes, the quarterback was their downfall the last few years but this would just not be the pick to go out and get one. There are none worthy of being taken in the first round now. If they are going to settle, settle for a need at a less important spot right now.
