This is really starting to get crazy. There are still some big names on the board and a lot of talent falling into the right hands.

17. Scouting Report. Texas A&M. WR . Christian Kirk . player. 26. Pick Analysis

Here is another odd pick that makes sense. The Ravens need a wideout plain and simple. They were not the victims of being a miracle away from the playoffs. They are missing that big play threat. Kirk can be that guy. The Ravens need a guy who can score TDs which, here you go.

For whatever reason the Ravens are still immensely high on Joe Flacco and drafting a QB would not make sense for them. The Ravens always find a way to be feisty but are very smart. If they do take Kirk here, do not be too surprised if it works out.

Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Washington. 18. 32. DT. Vita Vea. player

The Cardinals probably have much larger problems than DT. For instance, a QB who is as fragile as glass in Sam Bradford. However, their GM Steve Keim is one of the most respected in the entire business.

Vea is a good pick here too. Coming from a good program, he can stay on the west coast and land a starting job. The Cardinals’ forte is defense as usual so an upgrade here makes sense.

The downfall is that it does not fill a true need for the Cards. However, sometimes just going with the best player works out for a team. Vea has potential to be just fine. Arizona buys themselves time to fill other holes if they lock down DT for a while.

19 . Jaire Alexander . CB . Louisville. player. 49. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis

Aaron Rodgers needs help. I do not just mean on offense. The Packers could use help anywhere they can get it.

Considering Aaron Rodgers can carry almost any offense, having a lockdown defense still complements Rodgers well.

Alexander will bolster the Packers’ defense. He is quick and smart. Despite the setbacks that have moved him down the board, he is still first-round worthy.

R-e-l-a-x, Packer fans. Help is coming and it starts with this pick.

Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Will Hernandez . player. 58. G . UTEP. 20

Sitting on the border of being a first or second-round pick, the Redskins will settle for Hernandez. Considering how much they gave up and then subsequently paid for Alex Smith, they might as well protect him.

The Redskins can always use defense but clearly, they need to rebuild their offense as well. Shuffle some things around and Hernandez can be a starter for the Redskins.

A better o-line for Alex Smith is good considering he needs all the help he can get. Despite the Redskins showing no true direction, at least in my eyes, this is a smart pick. You can never go wrong with helping a QB which the Redskins need to treat with royalty considering how poorly they treated Kirk Cousins.
