With just one day until the 2018 NFL Draft, we take a look at how all seven rounds could go for the New York Jets in our latest NFL mock draft.

The 2018 NFL Draft is so close I can almost taste it! At 8:00 p.m. ET on Thursday night, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell will walk up to the podium at AT&T Stadium and the Cleveland Browns will be on the clock! Not long after, it will be the New York Jets’ turn to pick. Although it’s almost time for the real deal, there’s still time to put together one more New York Jets seven-round NFL mock draft.

The Jets will have six picks in the seven-round ordeal as they lost both of their second-round picks when they moved up in the first round in a trade with the Indianapolis Colts. Despite a busy free agency period, the Jets still have quite a few holes to fill.

Josh McCown and Teddy Bridgewater were both brought in on one-year deals and are solid stopgap options, but New York needs to find their franchise quarterback of the future. The Jets also need to address a pass rush that ranked 28th in the NFL in sacks last season. Despite bringing in Trumaine Johnson, the Jets could afford to add another cornerback. Morris Claiborne was brought back on just a one-year deal and Buster Skrine is entering the final year of his contract. Gang Green also needs to improve their offensive line and protect whichever young quarterback they bring in.

Finding the quarterback of the future is Mike Maccagnan’s top priority, which is why he moved up in the first round. After that, protecting the young kid and getting after the opposing quarterback are the biggest areas of need for the Jets.

So much will happen between now and when the Jets make each of their picks, but here’s my attempt at a New York Jets seven-round mock draft!
