Week 15

Yet another 2017 playoff team for the New York Giants to face in 2018. The Tennessee Titans have a new head coach in Mike Vrabel and they’ll be looking to get back to the playoffs.

The Titans are led by young quarterback Marcus Mariota. His biggest weakness is turning the ball over, but he’ll have a new safety blanket in Dion Lewis. Lewis and Derrick Henry will form a lethal one-two punch in Tennessee’s backfield. Tight end Delanie Walker could also cause problems for the Giants. Wide receiver Corey Davis will look to make a jump in year two, but Janoris Jenkins should be able to handle him.

Defensively, the Titans added Malcolm Butler to join Logan Ryan and create a former Patriot cornerback duo. They lost Avery Williamson, their run-stuffing middle linebacker to the Jets. They could be looking to add a linebacker in the draft. Tennessee has Jurrell Casey in the middle of their defense with Brian Orakpo and Derrick Morgan rushing the passer from the outside.

This has the feeling of a Big Blue upset. Tennessee should be fighting for a playoff spot, but they could overlook the struggling Giants. New York might not be as overmatched as it might seem and with this game being played at MetLife Stadium, the Giants could help shake up the AFC playoff race.
