Week 6

The Philadelphia Eagles have very few holes and the defending Super Bowl champions are going to be serious contenders to repeat. If Carson Wentz isn’t ready by Week 1, he should be back by Week 6 and ready to terrorize the Giants.

The Eagles offensive line is more talented than Big Blue’s pass rush. Jason Kelce is a top-three center in the league and Lane Johnson is perhaps the NFL’s top right tackle. Meanwhile, Jason Pierre-Paul is in Tampa and Olivier Vernon looks like New York’s only formidable pass rusher.

On the other hand, the depth of Philly’s pass rush should be keeping New York’s offensive line up at night. There’s just no way the Giants will be able to block Michael Bennett, Brandon Graham, Derek Barnett, Chris Long, Fletcher Cox, Haloti Ngata, and Tim Jernigan.

Philadelphia also has good depth in their secondary and solid linebackers. They won’t take anyone by surprise this season, but the Eagles will have one of the NFL’s top defensive units again this year.

The Eagles have this game won in the trenches and all of their other talent is just a bonus. Philly should have no problem winning this one and, unfortunately, it won’t be close.
