New York Jets 2018 preseason schedule released
Taking a look at the New York Jets 2018 preseason schedule
The NFL has released the 2018 preseason schedule, and that includes the New York Jets. The offseason is always slow, NFL fans across this planet will agree. We wait for signs that the season is on the horizon to get excited. The release of the preseason schedule is one of the many things to help fans get through the spring.
Here is the Jets preseason schedule:
Later on in the offseason, the schedule will come out with the specific dates and times of each of the games. This gives us a framework of who is playing who and when. If you are interested in the rest of the preseason schedule, give it a look right here. 65 games is the number we have to look forward to, or not, depending upon your outlook on preseason football.
The only one that we see any of our starters play an extended period is in the annual Snoopy Bowl. In week three the Giants and the Jets renew their annual rivalry for bragging rights in this big town. The fans get a bit more out of it than the players do, they just want to get through it healthy. But it is always fun to watch the Jets and the Giants play against each other. Bryce Petty led the Jets on a furious comeback last year before it came up just a bit short. The game could be fun.
Maybe I am just a football nerd but I watch all of the preseason games. It gives us a chance to scout the rookies and the players at the end of the roster. That way we can have opinions on the roster moves that are made to get down to final cuts. But that is nothing against fans that don’t enjoy the preseason. It is responsible for a lot of injuries that can bury seasons before they start.
We will have the specific game details when they come up.
