New York Jets: Four viable remaining free agents

Here are four free agents that would make sense for the New York Jets.

The New York Jets and the NFL are finishing up the first week of free agency. What a week it has been huh? The first week of free agency is almost like Christmas, with all of the teams going under their respective trees to open their new gifts. I am sure the fan base has very varied opinions about the players under the Jets tree this past week, but we can get to that at another time. Today we move forward.

We move onto the secondary market of free agents. After that initial chaos of the opening week, some of the next level of players get signed to teams. These aren’t necessarily the Pro Bowl players, though they could become ones of course. These are the players that are essential to championship teams, but are the role players. They fill in the gaps that the stars don’t fill to make out a complete roster.

The secondary level of player is arguably Mike Maccagnan’s specialty. He has difficulty with the front line players, although Trumaine Johnson may be a notable exception. But the next level of player is the type he has the ability to find. But, we are going to help him here with four remaining free agents that would be worth his time. Here we go:
