Jimmy Graham

For the final choice we have one for the category of “A fella can dream”. All of the choices have been either one we have heard about and the others not. All of them so far have been guys that are options that are fairly conceivable to have happen. Jimmy Graham is a guy we can dream about signing. The Jets do have the money to bring him on board.

Everybody knows how good this guy is. At 6-7 he is basically a tree in the endzone. Paired with Drew Brees he posted 51 touchdowns in five years and has posted 18 in three years with Russell Wilson. It took time for the Seahawks to figure out his role with the team but once they did it was vintage Graham. His high watermark with Seattle came last season with ten scores.

Spotrac sets his market value at $6.7 million annually. Based on his career production that isn’t an exorbitant price. As we said on the Eifert slide, the Jets are going to use the tight end as a weapon in the offense going forward. If they don’t bring back Austin Seferian-Jenkins, and according to Rich Cimini of ESPN this is becoming likely, Graham would be an excellent addition.
