Here are three guys the New York Jets should consider in the draft if they don’t select a quarterback.

This offseason for the New York Jets will go down as the year of the quarterback. It could be something special if they solve the situation or it will go down as a disaster if the Jets aren’t able to solve the problem. There are so many directions the situation can go. It is the Jets, what we think is obvious might not be to the team. Make no mistake about the fact that this franchise is at a major crossroads.

Kirk Cousins has been the primary focus and will continue to be so until free agency arrives. The Jets are looking more and more like they are going to do whatever it takes to bring him in. The idea is that he is the known commodity and that prospects in the draft are just that, prospects. We never really know what they are going to turn out to be. We could get our franchise quarterback that way or it could be another dud.

Thinking ahead, what do the Jets do in the draft if Kirk Cousins is signed? They don’t need to draft one of the top quarterbacks early if they draft one at all.
