2. player. Scouting Report. OT. UCLA. Pick Analysis. Kolton Miller. 31

The New York Giants need to address their offensive line. If they don’t do so in the first round, they shouldn’t wait longer than the No. 34 overall pick in the second round.

Lucky for them, there is an offensive tackle prospect with huge upside in Kolton Miller who could be available at the top of the second round.

Miller has moved up draft boards of late, even getting first-round consideration. Other scouts see Miller as a mid-round pick.

When it comes to size, few have more of it than Miller. At 6’8, 310 lb., Miller is a mammoth of a man who can swallow up defenders.

He has quick feet and uses his length to keep defenders off his body. Miller also shows good knee bend which helps him maintain leverage despite being so tall.

Jon Dove of With the First Pick sees Miller as a borderline first-round pick:

"Overall, Miller’s combination of length and athleticism makes him a very strong prospect. He is someone who can protect the quarterback which is something NFL coaches covet. It wouldn’t be a surprise to see his stock rise as we work through the process. Miller is absolutely in the 1st round mix."

A draft board riser, Miller will likely be a first-round pick in many NFL mock drafts but being the second pick of the second round is certainly realistic.

Miller could be a day one starter at right tackle with the potential to be a left tackle down the road. The New York Giants need improvements at both tackle spots, so Miller could be the perfect prospect to fill both short-term and long-term needs.
