Call Josh Ho-Sang up and give him playing time

“Sanger” has NHL reps this season. He was with the team when the Isles were hot and played for them as they struggled. Just call him back up and give him one more chance.

This is the most obvious option. The most convenient one as well.

The Islanders can just give him one more chance. Let him come up and play in the lower tier lines.

Maybe this won’t work. His defensive skills are sub-par and his turnovers are costly.

However, a player of his caliber with all the potential talent should be in the NHL now.

Call him up and put him on a short leash. Coach Weight already keeps his young players on a short leash so why not one more.

The Isles defense can only be saved via trades so if Ho-Sang is gonna stick around, then use him.

Bolster up the offense by calling him up.

We know what we have in the defense. So the Islanders should make the offense even better.

This approach may or may not work. That is up for debate but enough is enough.

Call Ho-Sang up and just let him play. It’s an option we have seen and an option that is safe.

Coach around his flaws and don’t change what he does too much. This team needs him now.

Any form of him.
