Move Josh Ho-Sang at the trade deadline

The Isles could very much be looking at a full-on rebuild. Although Ho-Sang is a young talent who will be an asset to an offense, the Isles could move on from him entirely.

If the New York Islanders decided to go this route, it would be justified. Ho-Sang’s absence from the big leagues is only slightly noticed. The number one reason for his potential call-up would be because the fans want to see change.

The real change fans want is for Snow to be fired but that is unlikely.

So, the Islanders can trade Josh Ho-Sang.

There is always a cycle of rebuilding teams in the NHL looking to add young talent and send off “rental” players to get them.

The Isles have this option. They could offer up Ho-Sang for either a defenseman or picks.

Ho-Sang is a hot commodity. He’s got talent but potentially no role on this Isles squad.

A top option is to trade him. They will get a lot for him too. The deadline is rapidly approaching. The Isles are rapidly unraveling.

Getting a player to instantly improve the current team in hopes of turning things around makes sense.

Or, if by the deadline this team is all but done for, it makes sense to ship him away for a few early/mid-round draft picks to start from scratch.
