Reviewing the latest 2018 NFL Mock Draft for the New York Jets released here yesterday.

It’s draft season everybody! The New York Jets, along with the rest of the NFL, are busily preparing for the NFL Combine, the first step in the process of deciding who will be the stars of tomorrow. It’s also mock draft season, which is music to our ears. The different versions of the 2018 NFL Mock Draft are already coming out left and right. We all have to put our thoughts into the speculation game, right? We wouldn’t be fans without doing so!

We know that it is a big offseason for both Todd Bowles and Mike Maccagnan. Another 5-11 season is not going to cut it. It’s clear. The contract extension gives them one more chance. From the quarterback situation on down, they are going to have to get this right, now. If they don’t, there will be another search for a GM and a coach at the end of the 2018 season. Count on it.

Our own Sean Dyer has begun his foray into mock season with three Jets mock drafts to date. Yesterday, Sean released his third version of his Jets mock. Now that he has gotten his feet wet a bit for the new year, let’s take a look at the recent mock. We will go over each of his selections, talk about what I agree with and where I might go a different direction. Make sure you take a look at his draft if you haven’t, it’s very solid.
