By Sean Dyer
There’s no better time of the year than NFL mock draft season! Let’s take a look at how the first three rounds could play out for the New York Giants.
Oh, what a Super Bowl. It was an unfortunate matchup for New York Giants fans but ended up being a great game to watch for football fans in general. Now that the NFL season is over, it is full-on NFL mock draft season!
As if the 2018 NFL Draft wasn’t already a critical one for the Giants, they are now chasing the world champion Philadelphia Eagles. Big Blue must hit on a majority of their selections to close the gap between them and Philly.
In my first New York Giants mock draft, I went with the popular decision of drafting a quarterback. In the second edition, Big Blue addressed their offensive line.
We switch things up again today, selecting three new players for the Giants. We also go back to using CBS Sports prospect rankings.
These NFL mock drafts are rarely accurate once the real draft takes place. However, they give fans a chance to learn about different prospects they may not have heard of before. It also gives fans a chance to see which prospects are expected to get drafted before their team picks and which prospects are expected to be on the board when it’s their team’s turn.
In today’s mock draft, we’ll be introducing a pair of prospects who could help get Big Blue’s offense back on track and a prospect who could be utilized in the middle of James Bettcher’s 3-4 defense.
So, without further ado, let’s take a look at the third installment of my three-round NFL mock draft for the New York Giants!
