Goaltenders

The goalies are:

  • Henrik Lundqvist (Rangers)*
  • Cory Schneider (Devils)*

“Hank” not only gets the automatic bid, he would probably make the all-time Empire team. One of the best Rangers ever, he is still playing great hockey and has become one of the biggest stars in the league.

Cory Schneider is not perfect but he is a reliable goalie. The struggling Devils are still in good shape heading into the break. With his backup on the IR, he will keep carrying the load in Newark. It’s no question he is an Empire All-Star.
