Tyler Wade

Can play: 2B, SS, LF, RF

2017 MLB stats: 30 games, .155/.222/.224, four doubles, two RBI

2017 AAA stats: 85 games, .310/.382/.460, 22 doubles, four triples, seven home runs, 31 RBI

Making his MLB debut on June 27, Wade didn’t really impress in his first big league stint. He was looking at too many pitches and swinging poorly at the rest. However, that isn’t the Wade that will be seen this coming season.

His ability to make great contact with the ball and his outstanding speed help describe what type of player he is. His glove is also fit to play in the infield and the outfield, so a comparison for him is Dee Gordon, who is making the transition to center field for the Seattle Mariners this season.

Having a little bit of MLB experience and the fact that he is on the 40-man roster makes Wade more likely to take the starting spot at second base.
