ArDarius Stewart

FINAL STATS: SEVEN RUSHES, 27 YARDS; SIX RECEPTIONS, 82 YARDS

Here is one of two slides regarding players that will likely get more playing time next season. ArDarius Stewart didn’t get a lot of playing time in year one, but that was in part due to the type of player he is. He isn’t the traditional wide receiver, serving more in an H-back type of role. He is a guy that can run “Jet Sweeps”, wide receiver screens, and those types of plays.

When he did get on the field, Stewart showed some of his potential both on the ground and through the air. Rushing for nearly four yards per carry is pretty good considering he only ran the rock seven times. He showed the ability to get open with his six catches. Even in that limited amount of time his ability to get open was apparent.

You also can’t teach hands and Stewart has good hands. He was not credited with a single drop, even though it was only on 13 targets. Given the opportunity he could flourish in a secondary role behind Robby Anderson. He should have the opportunity to see more reps in 2018 which should lead to an increased ArDarius Stewart.

FINAL GRADE: B-
