Hallelujah! Praise the “football gods” because the Buffalo Bills finally clinch a playoff spot after their win vs the Dolphins.

The Buffalo Bills beating the Dolphins was not going to be good enough. The story of this game is nothing that happened in the game itself but the minutes after the game.

59. 22. 16. Final. 16

The Bills knew what was on the line. Despite the score, the Bills handedly beat the Dolphins. Much like the first time, the Dolphins soared back at the end only to still come up short.

The Bills got a big game from Tyrod Taylor who threw for over 200 yards with a TD and no picks.

LeSean McCoy was carted off the field after suffering an ankle injury. The x-rays wee negative.

Let’s say that again. The Buffalo Bills are in the playoffs.

But one of the themes of the season thus far, the next man had to step up. They all did.

The Bills turned to Mike Tolbert, Marcus Murphy, and even Kyle Williams to step up in the run game.

The long-tenured Bills DT, who is arguably the guy who deserves the playoffs most, scored his first TD after a goal-line plunge to cross the plane and cushion Buffalo’s lead.

As expected though, the Bills outplayed a Dolphins team that had thrown in the towel.

The Bills needed a Ravens loss. A Titans AND Chargers loss would have worked too. The most simple scenario: A Ravens loss.

The Bengals were up early but a three TD day from Andy Dalton and the last-minute “miracle” win ended the Ravens’ season and catapulted the Bills into their first playoff game since January 2000.

Bills fans thanked him by donation over $100K to his charity. Pretty cool way to thank him.

Bills Mafia could finally rejoice. The drought is over.  The Buffalo Bills are postseason bound.

After the Dolphins recovered an onside kick, it looked as if the Bills’ ill-fate would kick in again.

However, Miami’s David Fales threw a ball right to Jordan Poyer.

The Bills did their job and the rest was down to destiny. That was the moment where things seemed to be working out for the Bills.

The Bills iced the game and then headed to the locker room to watch the conclusion of the Ravens game.

After that game, I saw perhaps the greatest Tweet ever sent. It is simple but concise.

The Buffalo Bills handedly beat the Dolphins. They controlled that.

Buffalo gets in on a tie-breaker that has not been used in nearly 10 years (strength of victory). Last team to get in on this tie-breaker?

The 2010 Green Bay Packers. Who, by the way, won the Super Bowl that season.

The 2017 Buffalo Bills are a team of destiny.

Next Week, the Buffalo Bills head down to Florida again for a Wild Card Matchup with the Jacksonville Jaguars. This can be dubbed the “Doug Marrone Revenge Bowl.”

Next: Bills owner talks about officiating

Marrone coached the Bills in 2013-2014 before opting out. The Bills will also go against Marcell Dareus for the first time since trading the talented but lazy DT earlier this year.

It is not just about Marrone and Dareus though. The Buffalo Bills are in the playoffs. It’s about the team, the fans, and the entire city.

I still cannot believe the Buffalo Bills are going to the playoffs.
