Here are three things to hope for during the game between the New York Jets and the New England Patriots.

The New York Jets close out the 2017 campaign up in New England as they take on Tom Brady and the rest of the New England Patriots. At 5-10 it’s one more game for pride for New York while the Patriots need this one for playoff seeding. We have all seen the difference in the AFC playoffs when they go through New England versus when they don’t. Don’t expect to see Belichick let up in this one but we know the Jets would love to play spoiler.

Normally we take a look at the three keys to victory at this point. We look at how the Jets need to perform to, in this case, pull off a big upset. But at this point, many don’t even want them to do it. The odds of it happening are more than slim and it would just take so much. It certainly doesn’t do much for them to win the game, other than the professional satisfaction. That’s not to say I won’t be cheering though.

Instead of that we are going to take a different look at this week’s game. This morning, we are going to look at three things we should hope to see happen. It will be similar to things we might talk about during the preseason. These are going to be three items to leave the fans with a good taste in their mouths as we put 2017 in the rearview mirror.

Let’s get to it.
