With only three weeks left in the 2017 regular season it’s time to look ahead to the 2018 NFL Draft and what the New York Jets will do on draft day.

April may be months away but it is time to start thinking about what the New York Jets will do in the 2018 NFL Draft. After surprising many fans and experts this season, the Jets five wins have put them in a position that’s unlikely to end with a top 5 pick. According to ESPN the Jets have a less the 6% chance of getting a pick in the top five. However, the Jets will likely be in the top ten which is where we will project their picks.

One thing to note in this draft is that the Jets will not trade up in the first round because they do not have the picks that other teams have to move up for one of the possible franchise quarterbacks in this class. Fear not Jets fans because in this mock draft patience pays off again for the Jets.

So how to the Jets handle round one from the top ten? Do they pick a quarterback that isn’t named Darnold or Rosen? Which one is it? Do they look at another position? Without further adieu we look at the first version of our Jets mock draft.
