Here are the three keys to victory for the New York Jets over the Kansas City Chiefs.

The New York Jets get back to work on Sunday afternoon as Bilal Powell, Robby Anderson and the rest of Todd Bowles’ bunch play host to Andy Reid’s Kansas City Chiefs. The Jets are coming off of last week’s loss to the Carolina Panthers and enter this week’s contest 4-7. The “tank” may be back in full swing as the Jets have lost five out of their last six. The Chiefs enter the game on a three-game losing streak, clinging to a one-game AFC West lead at 6-5. The latest loss came at the hands of the Buffalo Bills by a 16-10 score.

Here we have an old rivalry that dates back to 1960 and the AFL days when they were the New York Titans and the Dallas Texans. These two teams have met 38 times over the years with the Chiefs leading the series 19-18-1. Most recently was the matchup last year at Arrowhead and most of us will remember that one. Six interceptions is about all that needs to be said to conjure up a foul mood. Am I right?

As good as the Chiefs have been, they haven’t been so good lately. They have looked entirely beatable. They talk about how you can catch a team at the right time and have a shot even when you don’t have the talent. The Jets could be coming into that type of situation the way Kansas City is playing. They will have to work hard, of course. But the game isn’t as insurmountable as it might have seemed three or four weeks ago.

Here are three keys to victory.
