1) Jeremy Lin

Linsanity was truly electrifying. Ask anyone who was paying attention at the time, Jeremy Lin was the running joke for Knick fans until he finally got his chance to shine. Truly one of the saddest exits as it was perceived that Carmelo didn’t take kindly to sharing the spotlight, the joy that Linsanity brought to the Garden during the Dark Ages should not be forgotten soon.  And now as he has gone on to become a more than capable guard in the league, it’s even crazier to think of the fortuitous situation that allowed Lin to show the world that he wasn’t just a fluke.

Look: We are far from hanging banners, but it has been a long time coming and for the first time in a long time we can finally take solace in having a coherent and logically sound product with an identity and a future to root for. Thanks to all the New York Knicks who made the Dark Ages just a little less dark.
