Sad truth: for a few years, the Knicks were so bad that the best moment of our season was when a bench player won the dunk contest. Sure, he was way undersized, but the improbable Robinson came into the league on a mission: provide energy, instant offense, and of course to dunk on all the league’s tallest players.  He accomplished that when he famously dunked on Yao Ming, and though what he accomplished for the Knicks didn’t end in Ws, he provided Knick fans with entertainment and hope that any given season, with Nate Rob on our team, the improbable could happen.
