The Dark Ages of the New York Knicks: A Retrospect

1999 was a beautiful Cinderella story for the New York Knicks. After missing out on the first half of a lock-out season, the Knicks losing in the first round of the playoffs was a foregone conclusion for most.  Little did fans then realize, but the unprecedented run to the NBA Finals in one of Patrick Ewing’s last years of relevancy was not only an amazing story-line for the NBA, but it would have to suffice as the warmest memory fans would get out of Madison Square Garden for more than 20 years …

… until now.

Yes. The Knicks’ Dark Ages just may be finally over! But with all the hype surrounding Porzingis, Hardaway and the rest of our new-look winning product, let’s give some love to all the hardest working New York basketball players that left it all on the court in the last couple of decades.
