What are the three keys to victory for the New York Jets against the Carolina Panthers?

We are back from the bye week, ladies and gentlemen. The New York Jets get back to work this week, playing host to Cam Newton and the rest of the Carolina Panthers. Last we saw the Jets was in week ten when they fell to Ryan Fitzpatrick and the Buccaneers by the score of 15-10. The Panthers are also coming off of the bye week, previous crushing the Dolphins in week ten by the score of 45-21. That put the Panthers at 7-3, one game behind the New Orleans Saints in the NFC South.

These two teams have played completely even in their history, each team winning three out of their six games played. The last time these two teams met was in Carolina in 2013, and the Panthers came out on top, 30-20. Ironically, the time before that was at Giants Stadium in 2009. The Jets entered that game 4-6. They won and ended up in the title game just a few weeks later.

Just a point of note.

This is the beginning of what will be a very tough part of the schedule for the Jets. They face multiple opponents that simply boast more talent than they do. That being said, they aren’t “supposed” to have four wins yet either, so anything is possible. Let’s look at the three keys to an upset victory.
