Derrick Jones. F. . .

Despite the lack of cornerbacks on the roster Derrick Jones has only be active for one game this season, week 5 against the Cleveland Browns.

Jones was always an intriguing pick being a hybrid cornerback and wide receiver in college. When the Jets drafted Jones it looked like Jones would add depth to the cornerback position and be a special teamer.

Next: Jets history following the bye week

After a lackluster camp Jones has been M.I.A. on the active roster and barring multiple injuries in the secondary, looks like he will not be activated the rest of the season.

Jones has been a non-factor in 2017 and unless anything changes, it looks like he will a former member of the Jets before he gets back on the field as a Jet.
