It would be easy to give Donahue an incomplete grade like Leggett since he is also out for the year on the injured reserve list. Even with limited time on the field this season Donahue has shown that at the very least he can be a role player.

With four games and four tackles the stats won’t jump out for Donahue, but he did show bursts as an edge rusher with a couple of quarterback pressures. His role was also on special teams, which was another area where Donahue showed potential and that he was a good fit in the position.

Even with a shortened season due to injury, Donahue has appeared to have earned a role as a quality backup and special teamer. If he can develop his pass rush and stay healthy, he could be a nice role player for New York going forward.
