Money, Money, Money!

This little spending spree would likely cost the New York Yankees around $300 million total. That’s nothing compared to the $438 million they spent in 2013, but that’s because of the limited amount of money the Yankees can pay Shohei Otani.

So it wouldn’t be the craziest offseason the Yankees ever had but it sure would be fun. New York would be getting back to their Evil Empire ways. Fans would be excited about the upcoming season, buying new jerseys. And in maybe two to three years, we’d all be mad at Brian Cashman for handing out such ridiculous contracts.

Such is the life of a Yankee fan, I guess.

I will admit, it sure was fun approaching free agency with a 2013 New York Yankees mindset. We’ll soon see if Cashman and the Yankees feel the same way.

I hope you all enjoyed making it rain. Just clean all the money up off the floor when you’re done.
