The Buffalo Bills and Head Coach Sean McDermott dropped some stunning news Wednesday morning as they went with the decision to bench Pro Bowl QB Tyrod Taylor for the semi-unproven rookie, Nathan Peterman.

The Buffalo Bills have lost back to back games that were both blowouts. This move, initially, is seen as a desperation move for a team still in the playoff hunt.

I am absolutely appalled. Yesterday, I wrote an article talking about how odd and wrong it would be to bench Tyrod for Peterman, and that is exactly what the team did this morning.

The rookie will make his first NFL start on the road this Sunday in Los Angles. It is safe to assume he will start again on the road vs the Chiefs the week after that. If the Bills continue to ride Peterman, his third start will be against the mighty Patriots at home.

That is a tough task for a rookie to overcome in his first three starts.

As content as the fans are to be over .500 and in the playoff race, Coach thinks it is not good enough.

The move might come as a sigh of relief for a lot of Bills fans as many have grown tired of Tyrod and his one-dimensional game.

Nathan Peterman threw his first NFL TD last week against the Saints, just seven days later, he will make his first NFL start.

This year, “Tygod” has thrown for over 1,600 yards, 10 TDs, and only three picks.

Personally I believe the Saints game is a very poor standard to set. The whole team played poorly and now it feels like Tyrod is the odd man out.

But, Coach has seen enough from Peterman to give him the go for the foreseeable future.

Coach McDermott refused to compare Peterman to Tyrod directly. All season he has noted that each player is unique and not comparable to another one on the roster.

Next: Benjamin won't make the offense better

The move is simply because McDermott (he noted it was not his staff but purely his decision) thinks that this is the best decision for the team going forward and that Peterman gives them the best chance to get to the seemingly elusive playoffs.

“Trust The Process” is being echoed throughout One Bills Drive. This move, makes it really difficult to trust the process. I think I have hd too much process.

Il’ll miss you, Tyrod, its been fun.

But now, it is Peterman time. I wish him nothing but luck and hope he is finally the guy.
