Here are the five best New York Mets acquisitions since 1980.

The New York Mets have, through the years, been active in improving their roster.  Whether it has been during the season or not, the Mets, for the most part, have not rested on their laurels. It hasn’t always been the game-changing move, sometimes the move is one of a fine-tuning nature. Either way, however, it is part of the ongoing quest to bring the Mets back to the top. Let’s go.
