A. . . . Linebackers

The linebackers were the stars of the Thursday night with an incredible performance. Head Coach Todd Bowles allowed his linebackers to blitz and the results were the unit’s best performance of the year.

Jordan Jenkins was not only stellar at holding the edge in the running game, but he sacked Tyrod Taylor twice but forced a fumble on one of those sacks. With a season high in sacks, Jenkins made his case for more playing time and that he can get after the quarterback.

Demario Davis had another great game in the middle with a team high eight tackles, two that were for a loss. Davis found his way to Taylor for a sack and recovered a fumble.

Darron Lee is finally looking like a good first round investment as Todd Bowles is using Lee and his speed as a blitzer. Lee also had eight tackles and a sack like Davis and has been steadily improving throughout the season. It looks like Lee has found his role in this defense after what has been a difficult transition.
