Offensive Line. A +. . .

I’ve been hard on this unit all season but on Thursday night they had their best performance of the season. Against a talented defensive front the Jets buffet busters on the line dominated the point of attack and gave the running backs plenty of space to run for 194 yards rushing and 4.7 yards per carry.

The biggest criticism of the this unit has been their pass protection. Coming into Thursday night Josh McCown had been sacked 25 times this season. The good news is that McCown was only sacked once in the game and had plenty of time to work in the pocket.

It was a rough and inconsistent first half of the season for this unit, but this could be a turning point for this unit which would be great for McCown and the running backs.
