Despite the opportunities to become the feature back in the backfield, Wayne Gallman couldn’t secure that position and lost it to Orleans Darkwa.

If Darkwa does get hurt or struggles over the second half of the season, Gallman has at least put himself in the conversation to be in the mix to be the lead back in the backfield.

Gallman may not be an every down back in the NFL, but he is making a case to be a rotational player in the Giants offense.
