. . Dalvin Tomlinson. B +.

When Big Blue drafted Tomlinson out of Alabama it appeared that he would be starting alongside Damon Harrison on the Giants vaunted defensive line. All has gone according to plan as Tomlinson has 18 combined tackles.

Like Harrison, Tomlinson is not known for getting to the quarterback and acts as a two-down run stopper. This is how the Giants build their defense is through strong line play. Tomlinson was a powerful interior lineman at Alabama and has continued his run stuffing play in the pros.

He could develop into a three-down player if his bull rush improves, but for the meantime he is still a versatile starter on the defensive line. He’s a solid starter now that could be a special player if the pass rush improves.
