Pleading the case for Too Early To Tell

Justifiably, this was the most popular vote. Generating 40% of them, it makes sense why.

The Bills as of October 31st, have only played one division game. With no way of knowing what will happen in the other 5, it’s safe to assume it is too early to tell.

I have constantly mentioned that we have seen this from the Bills before. Granted this is a whole new regime, but it is still smart to hold off the pessimism or optimism until later in the season.

The Bills’ schedule is very conference heavy. Dolphins and Pasts 2x each, and the Colts. three conference wins is not enough to make the playoffs. They will need to win a lot more to get even the wild card.

The Bills still play the Chiefs, Chargers, Jets on Thursday, and the Saints.

Winning five more of those games still might not be enough.

5-2 is very early to tell. Lot of big games left for Western New York’s team.

Here is what some people on twitter had to say:

Dreading the Patriot games is a popular feeling amongst the fan base.

The “one game at a time” approach is smart. That seems to be one of the same mindsets Coach McDermott.

Conclusion

There you have it. The Bills Mafia has spoken and a majority of the people who participated think it is too early to tell if the Bills will earn their forever elusive playoff berth.

I think the playoff drought and constant heart-break played a role in people holding off.

If the Bills beat the Jets Thursday night, they will sit at 6-2 and be in first place in the AFC East and likely change some people’s minds.
