New York Jets Week 8 Position Report Card
By Nolan Rich
The line was just offensive on Sunday. There is no other word for it. The line was atrocious with no push in the running game, and had Josh McCown once again running for his life.
The majority of the Jets penalties came against the offensive line which killed drives and gave the offense even less chances to score. While the running backs haven’t run the ball well, it’s more on the putrid performance of the line than anything.
McCown is one of the most sacked quarterbacks in the league hitting the turf 25 times this season. If this unit’s performance doesn’t improve over the second half, there could be a major shakeup coming to the offensive line in the off-season.
