New York Jets Week 8 Position Report Card
By Nolan Rich
Robby Anderson had one of the best games of his young career with a career high 106 yards and one touchdown in the Jets loss. Anderson showed his ability to stretch the field like he did on his 24 yard touchdown catch using his speed to get behind the Falcons defense.
However, he was able to do a better drops on the intermediate throws and limited the drops that have plagued him in recent weeks. Without question he was the Jets best playmaker on the afternoon.
With Anderson shining, the rest of the receivers were mediocre at best. After a fast start, Jermaine Kearse only had two catches for 14 yards and Jeremy Kerley had only one seven yard catch.
Anderson is the home run hitter of the group, but the rest of the receivers are struggling just to get on base in recent weeks.
