The New York Yankees have parted ways with Joe Girardi and the future is a little blurrier than it was a few days ago. Not to worry, here are five encouraging signs for the future in the Bronx.

Yes, the New York Yankees fell short of the World Series, losing the ALCS in seven games, and they are now without a manager. However, the future is still bright.

They don’t have a man to lead the charge but this roster is built for success for years to come. A young core of Aaron Judge, Gary Sanchez, Luis Severino, Didi Gregorius, and Greg Bird should have fans confident about what the future holds.

The 2017 Yankees overachieved and the 2018 Yankees should be even better. The young guys now have playoff experience under their belts. New York does not have a ton of free agents to re-sign. The team also has some big contracts (Alex Rodriguez and CC Sabathia) coming off the books which will allow the Yankees to add to their roster this offseason if necessary.

Here are five encouraging signs for the future of the New York Yankees:
