C. . . . Wide receivers

While the running backs were weapons in the passing game it was an up and down day for the wide receivers. True,  Jermaine Kearse and Robby Anderson each caught a touchdown against the Dolphins. Other than that, it was a very quiet game from the wide receivers.

Kearse’s touchdown was his lone grab of the game, and Anderson finished with three catches for 35 yards. Also, Anderson had a bonehead penalty at the end of the game taking off his helmet and throwing it on the field for an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty that put the Jets even further back. It was a childish penalty that hurt his team in a time where the Jets couldn’t afford to lose any yards.

Jeremy Kerley had a quiet game and even had a few drops which has been uncharacteristic of him this season.

As a group the receivers only had six catches all day and some big drops in key spots.
