New York Jets Week 7 Position Report Card

A solid performance through the air and on the ground for the Jets running backs.  Bilal Powell led the Jets on the ground with a team high 43 yards and nine carries but also had 40 receiving yards including a big 31 yard catch and run in the first quarter.

While Powell led on the ground, it was Matt Forte who led the Jets through the air leading Gang Green in both receptions and receiving yards with five catches for 41 yards.

Both running backs showed their versatility in the run game and there passing game. Given the aggressive pass rush of the Dolphins, it was a smart game plan to use the backs out of the back field as weapons in the passing game. A versatile performance that helped the Jets go toe to toe with Miami on Sunday.
