The Losses

Only two losses to analyze is probably the most important note here. However, like the wins there is always a catch.

The Bills losing in Carolina should be remembered more for how the Bills almost came back and not for the  pathetic 9-3 score.

Tyrod and the Buffalo defense had just enough to be a Zay Jones drop away from 4-1.

But that’s not how it works in the NFL. I said it then and I’ll say it again, I think the Bills lost to a very good Carolina team.

The loss stung because had Jones hauled it in it would be a whole different narrative, but at the end of the day, the Panthers are a good team and will be in their division race until the very end.

The Bills most recent game was the loss to the Bengals.

This loss is what made the “experts” and fans pump the brakes on the Bills hype.

The Bills went into that game off the win in Atlanta and did not play well at all.

I gave Marvin Lewis credit for having his team prepared for the game but the Bills’ lack of execution was painful.

Tyrod looked completely lost. The receiving core was unfairly banged up and the Bills had no answer for the play making AJ Green.

I’m still scratching my head from the Bengals loss. The Bengals might get better and their defense might be elite. But the Bengals as a playoff team is a little outlandish.

So that is where the Bills are at.

Some big wins with a slight catch. A fair loss and a loss that Buffalo would like to have back.

Every team has a loss that they want back.

But the Bills record is solid enough right now to keep them fans semi-happy.

The Bills Mafia remains torn on one thing: Tyrod Taylor.

Is he the guy?
